The social housing provider has been shortlisted in three categories for the Housing Executive Awards, including Housing Association of the Year.
At the beginning of this year Manningham Housing Association (MHA) dominated the Northern Housing Awards. The situation hasn’t changed for the 2025 Housing Executive Awards. The social housing provider, based in Bradford, has been shortlisted for three awards including Housing Association of the Year and Best Affordable Housing Development.
The latter has come as a result of Odette’s Point in Keighley. The project, which cost around £4.3m, is located on Shann Lane and was delivered in partnership with Avant Homes, Homes England and Bradford Council.
However, the celebrations don’t stop there. Carolina Padovezi de Oliveira, head of corporate services at MHA, has been shortlisted for the Women in Social Housing Award, for her efforts in advancing inclusive leadership within the sector.
Commenting on the nominations, Lee Bloomfield, chief executive of MHA, said: ‘We have had a fantastic year of achievement across all areas of activity.
‘Being shortlisted for three Housing Executive Awards is testament to the success we have had and a source of great pride for the team I am privileged to lead.’
Rupert Pometsey, chair of MHA, added: ‘Whatever happens on the night, this is a remarkable outcome for a small housing association known for punching well above our weight.
‘I wish everyone the best of fortune at next month’s awards ceremony, with a special mention for Carolina who is a strong contender for the Women in Social Housing Award.’
The winners of the Housing Executive Awards, which were launched for the first time this year, will be announced during a ceremony on Tuesday 14th October at Bolton Wanderers FC Stadium. More information, including how to secure a ticket, can be found here.
