Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Maldon District Council in recruiting a Technical Support Officer within their Building Control team on an initial 2-month contract, with view to extend.
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to work on-site 2 days per week,
The role is within the Council's award-winning Housing Service, which is part of the Place, Planning & Growth directorate.
Role Purpose:
As a Technical Support Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for Building Control enquiries. You'll process Building Regulation applications, maintain accurate records, support Building Control Surveyors, liaise with customers, and ensure applications are managed efficiently and in accordance with legislation.
