Our Legal Services team provides comprehensive legal services to the council and to our external clients. We are a busy, friendly team and pride ourselves on the quality and responsiveness of our service. The team plays a pivotal role in supporting the council’s high profile and ambitious programme of regeneration and its commercial aspirations.
This is an exciting new role that has been established for a two year period in our busy and growing contracts team, primarily to support the delivery of the council’s ambitious programme to build at least 817 new homes with the help of the GLA Home Building Capacity Fund.
As an experienced senior contracts lawyer, you will have a sound understanding and extensive experience of regeneration projects, procurement regulations and statutory processes that apply within local government. You will have specific expertise in advising on construction and other regeneration related contracts. You will be a strong team player, able to play an effective influencing role in project teams, with enthusiasm for the project that will be the primary focus of this role.
