NYCC are looking for a Regional Strategy Officer to join their highly acclaimed Highways department. This hugely important and influential position will help us to secure transformational strategic transport improvements in North Yorkshire, York and the East Riding of Yorkshire. As this is a brand new role, this fantastic opportunity allows you the chance to take the lead and develop the role to help shape the future of transport in North Yorkshire.
As a Regional Strategy Officer, you will contribute towards the development, maintenance and implementation of the YNYER Local Industrial Strategy, co-ordinate and manage representation by the three local transport authorities at meetings and working groups relating to the transport of the north and liaise with the North Yorkshire Planning Authorities to ensure appropriate information provision and engagement on matters relating to the TFN.

You will be expected to work from County Hall and Beverley two days a week with the remaining time completing site visits.
