This is an opportunity to shape public health improvement across three ambitious local authority areas and the Berkshire West local integrated partnership by supporting the Director of Public Health for Berkshire West.

You will have an opportunity to shape health inequalities plans, health care public health priorities, and develop strategic public health programmes.

You will be the lead across Berkshire for workforce development with the opportunity to improve standards, influence sector led improvement, strengthen public health practice and enable opportunities for CPD.

There are public health consultant led teams in each of the unitary authorities who will help shape the priorities for the Berkshire West Public Health Team. You will be joining Reading Borough Council, a Berkshire West team and a wider system of public health improvement.

If you have the ambition to develop your career in an exciting and innovative environment, then we would love to hear from you. You must be a registered GMC, GDC or UK PHR public health specialist with significant experience in all areas of public health practice.
