The post-holder will work within the Communities Service to actively support delivery of our integrated neighbourhood working model, supporting Neighbourhood Coordinators within a defined geographical area.
You will be part of a neighbourhood team that is outcome focused and brings about positive change to the lives of individuals and communities.
Working alongside residents, community groups, elected members and partners, delivering solutions to local issues, building on and promoting local assets.
You will be working alongside the Neighbourhood Coordinators to support the development and delivery of ward/area plans, ensuring neighbourhood priorities are captured and targeted actions are developed and delivered.
You will support activities in wards bringing communities together as part of the councils commitment to thriving neighbourhoods in the Wakefield District Plan eg support delivery of Partnership Love Where You Live initiatives and campaigns, community clean ups / litter picks, multi-agency days of action.
This is an exciting opportunity to effect change and improve outcomes for residents, communities and businesses across the Wakefield district.
