To work in a busy customer facing role helping people identify appropriate housing solutions.
To work with customers in identifying appropriate prevention and/or accommodation solutions when they are faced with potential homelessness.
To utilise prevention services and accommodation effectively.
To ensure the Council meets its statutory duties in relation to the Homeless legislation.
Qualified to A level or equivalent, with minimum 5 A-C GCSEs including Maths and English or equivalent. Have previously worked in a front facing customer environment and have demonstrable experience in providing professional and tailored advice/solutions to clients. Knowledge of prevention services and accommodation options available to customers.
37 hours a week, temporary to cover maternity leave for 12 months. Subject to Enhanced DBS check.
