An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Council's Housing Solutions Service to provide an effective and professional person-centred approach to the prevention and relief of homelessness. Sandwell Council is committed to supporting vulnerable individuals and families in our community, and we are looking for a dedicated Homelessness Prevention Officer to help us achieve this mission.
As a Homelessness Prevention Officer, you will undertake a holistic approach to casework, including the assessment and investigation of homelessness in line with the Council's statutory duties. This role operates in a challenging and high-pressured environment, where you will work closely with vulnerable families and customers with varying needs.
