As a member of the Senior Leadership Team in Adult Social Care you will be responsible for ensuring the individual services you manage deliver a high quality and cost-effective service, underpinned by continuous improvement that is driven by qualitative and quantitative data.  Reporting to the Director of Adult Social Care Operations, you will lead within your service and across the department to ensure the services you directly manage are working closely and collaboratively with the wider department, directorate, and partnership.

You’ll be an empowering leader with vision to succeed, ensuring there is integration of adult social care and health, while influencing your teams and partners to work collaboratively. What’s more, you’ll deliver and advise on strategies for service development and improvements, and the performance achievements of departmental and customer objectives as well as develop new and innovative ways of doing things.

With a love for transformation, in this role you will advise senior managers about emerging models and best practice as well as lead, influence and stimulate cultural and behavioural change with individuals, groups and teams in a positive and supportive way.

You will have a degree or equivalent qualification or proven experience in a relevant area. You will have a proven track record in delivering service redesign, savings, and public involvement as well as a comprehensive understanding of current policy issues facing local government and adult social care. With your experience of successfully delivering and leading on large scale projects you will help to deliver customer focused service improvements and enhancing their experience.
