This post will be based in the City Centre to complete street cleansing duties, litter picking, weeding, graffiti removal, litter bin emptying and any other cleansing duties required to keep the City looking its best for residents and visitors alike.

The post requires a high level of customer care skills as you will be working with the public at all times. We are looking for someone who enjoys a challenge and can fit into a team of people who are proud and committed to the service they provide.

Applicants must feel confident to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to all duties and must be able to evidence excellent customer care skills.

The hours of work are 37 per week to suit the operational requirements of the service; this includes weekend working.

The successful candidate will be issued with a rota which will include some weekend working.
