Leading a highly successful regeneration team, you will build on considerable success. Our multi-million-pound programmes have transformed the Borough and been recognised at national level – we’ve reached the finals at the MJ Awards, LGC Awards, Planning Awards and REVO Gold Awards. We’ve also won the British Parking Award as well as the National Landscape Award for our Splashlands water park. With you at the helm, that will be just the beginning. We’ll look to you to deliver the affordable housing our community needs, so you will be central to the transformation of Welwyn Hatfield. That’s why we need the best. Ideally a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) or Chartered Town Planner (MRTP), you’ll be highly experienced in managing substantial capital and regeneration projects within a local authority environment. You’ll also be comfortable shaping strategy, managing key programmes and influencing politicians, and you’ll be passionate about transformation and dedicated to making a difference. In short, you’ll be a powerful catalyst for change, with the drive and determination to make things happen.
