We are currently recruiting for a Communities Officer (Community Safety
You will be responsible for working with a range of partners to design, deliver and monitor community safety interventions and projects across Nuneaton and Bedworth. In addition you will be coordinating and supporting the work of Community Safety Partnership.
To succeed in this role candidates must be conscientious, highly organised and demonstrate a high level of creativity, professionalism and confidence when working with a wide and diverse range of partners organisations.
Experience of community work is required as are excellent communication and customers service skills. You will need to demonstrate initiative, resilience and flexibility as well as being passionate about supporting people and communities
• Experience of developing activities in relation to community safety programmes.
• Experience of monitoring the delivery of community safety initiatives in partnership with other stakeholders.
• Experience of maintaining budgetary controls and preparing regular progress monitoring reports.
• Experience of identifying and apply for resources/funding needed to deliver community safety initiatives
• Experience of coordinating task and finish groups and facilitate joint working across organisations.
