This new role sits at the heart of our organisation and will lead a broad range of enabling functions that are critical to the future success of the organisation including human resources and organisational development, finance, ICT, legal, policy and governance as well as business strategy, performance and delivery. The COO will play a key role in driving organisational transformation and change.

This is an opportunity to define how the organisation works as a whole and responds to rising demand, financial uncertainty and climate and technological change. Whatever your professional background, we are looking for a dynamic enterprise leader who really understands how to develop new ways of working in a collaborative way, how we can get closer to the communities we serve and how we support and challenge our colleagues to be the very best they can to deliver for the people of Sheffield.
