Newcastle City Council Revenues, Benefits & Exchequer Team is undergoing major transformation and we are implementing leaner operating models and we are looking to recruit an experienced officer to join our successful and dynamic team.
As a Business Systems Development Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that Revenues and Benefits core business systems and portals are modern, efficient and cost effective to meet service user and customer requirements.
You will need to have experience in researching, developing, modelling and implementing technology solutions to improve service delivery and reduce cost in a Revenues and Benefits environment
You will also require excellent communication and organisation skills and the ability to provide advice, guidance and support on complex areas of business systems including functionality changes and usability for members of staff and customers.
