A vacancy has arisen within Business Services for a full-time Administration Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team who support our Fleet department based at our Morrison Busty depot in Annfield Plain, Stanley. The is temporary for 18 months initially. 

 
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
 
We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic team player who takes pride in providing excellent customer-service. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy, be well-organised and flexible, have good IT skills and manage changing priorities.

You will also need to be able to work unsupervised using your own initiative.

Cover for other depots is an essential requirement of the role. This includes Meadowfield, Hackworth Road at Peterlee and Chilton depots.

The duties include:

  • reception duties
  • dealing with enquiries over the telephone, face to face and e-mail
  • liaising with workshop personnel
  • raising jobs on the Fleet Management System for vehicle repairs, tyres, taxi and MOT testing
  • monitoring fuel stocks and ordering fuel
  • general administration duties

WHAT WILL I NEED?
 
You must have 5 GCSEs (grades A-C) or equivalent.

INTERVIEWS
 
It is anticipated that interviews will be held at Meadowfield Depot on Tuesday 28th April.
