This is an exciting opportunity to join Telford & Wrekin Council’s Strategic Transport & Highway Network Management Team, playing a proactive role in supporting growth across the Borough.

You’ll specialise in developing our strategy to support sustainable travel, including cycling & walking and public transport infrastructure, as well as co-ordinating the design and delivery of these functions.

Candidates should possess a thorough understanding of current and emerging national policy, scheme design and delivery, public consultation and project management skills that enable you to deliver projects within agreed budget and timescales, excel in partnership working and relationship building whilst managing a busy and diverse workload.

Telford a new town has its roots in the 1960s but this doesn’t mean we’re stuck in the past. Over the last 50 years the town has grown and developed into a hub of innovation and investment.

Telford & Wrekin Council is ambitious, always looking to develop, improve and attract investment. The Council has recently delivered a number of exciting projects, and over the next three years the Council is embarking on a further significant investment programme, will you be part of it?
