Lead for Corporate Projects (Corporate Projects)

The Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale is seeking a Leader for our Corporate Projects Team. Located in Halifax, the heart of Pennine West Yorkshire, we are delivering across regeneration, transport, building refurbishment and economic agenda and have over £100 million to spend. Professional Lead – Regeneration

Powys County Council is looking for a Regeneration professional to undertake the role of Professional Lead for the delivery of the Council’s Regeneration and Economic Development functions, including large scale external fund management, tourism and inward investment promotion. We have a range of exciting land and property based projects underway and more to be developed in the future. This is a brand new post, created at a time when the authority is entering an exciting and challenging phase.

Head of Strategy

As Head of Strategy you will be responsible for strategy and policy development for GBSLEP, including regular refreshes of the Strategic Economic Plan (SEP), and for ensuring that this work is underpinned by a robust evidence base.

You will lead refreshes of key strategic documents such as the ESIF Strategy, and the development of new ones as required, to ensure that they all align with, and help to take forward, the priorities in the Strategic Economic Plan. This work will help to support the development of a pipeline of investible propositions for the area.

Head of Delivery

As Head of Delivery you will be responsible for maximising the impact of GBSLEP funding on the delivery of Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) objectives and will provide specific programme management leadership on the delivery of the current and future Growth Deals.

You will support partners to deliver existing projects and, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, develop a pipeline of new projects, commissioning new schemes where required.  With the support of the Growth Hub Manager, we will be expecting you to evolve and deliver the implementation plan for the Growth Hub, targeted at achieving self-sustainability within a three year period.

Executive Manager for Business

Growing Business, Creative & Cultural City and Optimising Assets officers

The GBSLEP is seeking three new Executive Officers to support the Growing Businesses, Creative & Cultural and Optimising Assets elements of the LEP’s Strategy for Growth.

You will report to either the Executive Manager for Business or Place.

You will each be responsible for supporting the development of the strategic and policy direction for the “strategic enabler” in the GBSLEP’s Strategy for Growth for which you are responsible – you will be the Executive’s “experts” in these areas.

Executive Officer for Innovation

You will report to either the Executive Manager for Business or Place. In the case of the Innovation post, this individual will jointly report to the Director for Birmingham Science City.

You will each be responsible for supporting the development of the strategic and policy direction for the “strategic enabler” in the GBSLEP’s Strategy for Growth for which you are responsible – you will be the Executive’s “experts” in these areas.
