Economic Growth Officer

There’s no better time to work in Coventry. The city successfully bid to become UK City of Culture in 2021 and is now preparing to take centre stage and show the world what it has to offer.

We are looking to recruit a talented Economic Growth Officer to join our successful Programmes Team working on our biggest and most important  projects, supporting the successful delivery of the £131m Local Growth Fund Programme on behalf of the Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership.

Housing and Wellbeing Strategy Officer

A vacancy has arisen for a Housing & Wellbeing Strategy Officer.

Working alongside another Housing & Wellbeing Strategy Officer and an Assistant, your key responsibilities will include assisting with the development, maintenance and delivery of the Council’s housing and wellbeing related strategies and policies, assessing housing need, enabling new affordable housing and liaising with a wide range of partners. You will also monitor contracts to deliver the Housing Assistance Policy.

An opportunity has arisen for 2 enthusiastic and motivated individuals to support the delivery of Coventry City Council’s highly successful Economic Development Programmes. Working on our biggest and most important  projects, including those linked to City of Culture, you will be supporting the successful delivery of over £150m of EU and UK Government funding programmes.

It’s an exciting time to join the Council’s new Place Shaping and Economic Growth service!  Leading a wide variety of customer facing services and projects, this busy, professional team supports the delivery of high quality economic growth (homes and jobs) throughout the district

The Systems, Information and Support Manager post is one of two posts who manage our service-wide support team, ensuring that business information systems, processes and procedures support the efficient delivery of priority projects and services. This includes case management, image and geographic information systems.
