Credit: City of Wolverhampton Council Wolverhampton could see a £185m living development built right in the centre of the city. The proposed Brewers Yard development will see 1,100 city houses and apartments and 60,000 sq. ft. of retail and commercial space built on ten acres of brownfield land next to the University of Wolverhampton’s Springfield Campus. The development – a joint venture between property developer Court Collaboration, the City of Wolverhampton Council and West Midlands Combined Authority, was originally announced at the international property event MIPIM in Cannes last month. The scheme aims to deliver high-quality, affordable housing at the heart of Wolverhampton and is expected to bring over £250m of economic benefit to the city.
