Survey: are small community groups thriving or struggling?

Small community groups are often seen as social glue – binding communities together but often unseen and undervalued. How are these groups surviving in the current economic and political climate in the north west of England? Are they trying out new ways of working in order to survive? Or are they struggling to carry on?

Manchester Metropolitan University in partnership with Community North West is carrying out an extensive survey of small community groups throughout the north west.

The survey is part of a study into how community groups in the region are faring, how they are responding to change and what support they may need in order to become more resilient.

The survey is for any voluntary, community or charity organisation with an annual income of less than £50,000. Please encourage any of these groups you know to take part here.

The closing date is 17 October.
