Key Fund Yorkshire celebrates 10 years of success

Key Fund Yorkshire, an organisation that provides funding to social enterprises and voluntary & community groups is celebrating reaching ten years of delivery.

The Key Fund has been delivering grants and loans to third sector organisations throughout Yorkshire and the Humber since 1999, and is celebrating this achievement at their Annual Public Meeting from 12.00pm – 2.30pm on Friday 20th March.

The event will be a chance for all those involved in the past, present and future of the Key Fund to celebrate continued success despite a challenging year for many.

The event is being held at Tiger11’s Hillside building in Leeds. The managed workspace based in Beeston is one of over 600 social enterprises and 1,300 voluntary and community organisations to be funded by the Key Fund since their establishment.

On the day, the Key Fund will also be celebrating reaching a huge funding milestone. By delivering £20million in investment to the third sector; the Key Fund has helped to create 106 new businesses, 672 new jobs and safeguard 377 existing jobs.

Ann Oldroyd, Chief Executive of Key Fund Yorkshire, comments “This is a huge achievement for the Key Fund and one that we are all very proud of. The Key Fund has always been dedicated to investing in local communities, and even more so now that local organisations are having to respond to the realities of challenging trading conditions.”
