The deadline for entries is Friday 30th May 2025.
First established 30 years ago, the Building Awards were set up by Building Magazine – one of the UK’s leading construction publications. The event aims to celebrate organisations and individuals who have positively contributed to the construction sector.
This year’s event is due to take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on 4th November. Though this date is still six months away, the deadline for submitting entry applications is fast approaching.
People looking to nominate particular organisations/individuals have until just tomorrow (30th May) to put forward any last-minute entries.
The event is comprised of 20 categories and some of last year’s winners include UCL Marshgate who won Building Magazine Project of the Year and Dan Labbad who was crowned CEO of the Year.
Hosting such a large event requires a hefty judging panel. The Building Awards have appointed 32 industry experts to select this year’s winners.
Some of the famous faces involved include:
- Peter Bill – author and journalist
- Dr Bola Abisogun OBE – founder of Digital Twin Skills Academy CIC
- Anna Clarke – director of policy and public affairs at Housing Forum
- Flan MacNamara – construction director at Sellar
- Gauri Talathis-Lamb – CEO of FHP Group LLP
Alongside Building Magazine, the awards wouldn’t be possible without its sponsors. Seven leading organisations are supporting this year’s event which are, Build UK, Clement Windows Group, Climate Group, DGP, Fenwick Elliott, The Housing Forum and UKGBC.
Information about how to submit any final entry applications can be found here.
