Cost of living crisis exacerbating North-South divide report finds
Figures released today by think tank Centre for Cities have revealed the North-South divide is widening, with inflation up to 30% higher in Northern cities.
The government has ruled out a series of recommendations to improve financial support for low-income households in response to the cost of living crisis.
