Town Park Ranger

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a variety of skills to proactively encourage and support the use of parks across Rugby.  If you’ve got the passion to proactively work with park users we’d love to hear from you.

This full time role is based in Caldecott Park, although will involve visiting parks across Rugby. You will be the friendly face patrolling and engaging with members of the public and ensuring user safety, issuing fixed penalty notices and to be the first point of contact with park users. Other duties include: reporting of damage and graffiti, running of events, promoting park use and working effectively with other agencies.  You must have excellent communication skills to work with a range of individuals, community groups, schools groups, volunteers and local businesses.

Parks Services & Business Development Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a well-organised and confident individual to join the Parks and Open Spaces Section of the Communities Team.

The section you will be joining manages Bexley’s 106 parks and open spaces, 4 cemeteries and 35 allotments. This is a varied, an interesting role that would suit someone that can handle an eclectic mix of service supporting tasks and is keen to develop new commercial ideas in parks and open spaces.  You will be managing two members of staff and be involved in communicating directly with residents and users of Parks and Open Spaces to help solve their issues.
