Senior Planning Officer

Malvern Hills and Wychavon District Councils are proactive successful local planning authorities that have joined their Planning Services into a shared service. The posts are hosted by Malvern Hills District Council but will work and be based in Wychavon District with occasional need to work cross border.

The Council offices, which offer free car parking, are situated within the Georgian Town of Pershore, close to accessible, attractive countryside within South Worcestershire including the villages of Broadway, Bredon and the Lenches. We are currently looking for two Senior Planning Officers or one full time Officer to join our team of professionals and support the Development Manager/Area Planning Officer in dealing with a broad range of planning applications within our district.

We have an exciting opportunity available for an administrator to be part of our North London Waste Authority (NWLA) Strategy and Services team. In this role you will support all aspects of the main waste contract with our contractor London Energy Ltd. This will include query resolution, answering phone calls, updating data on spreadsheets, create reports and manage the payment of invoices in consultation with finance.

The Lexcel accredited Legal Services Team is looking for a Team Manager who will also undertake the role of Deputy Monitoring Officer. You will be required to provide commercially aware legal advice to internal and external clients as well as advising on a range of governance issues. You will be required to provide managerial support to the Senior Solicitors, Practice Manager and Data Protection Officer as well as providing direction for other staff as appropriate. It is also essential for the successful candidate to develop the team as a business unit and maximise income generation opportunities.
