Homeless Reduction Officer

28 hours per week permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Sunderland City Council for a Homeless Reduction Officer within the Housing Options Team.

The role is to interview, assess and identify prevention/relief options for people while working collaboratively with housing and homelessness services, prisons, drug treatment agencies and other relevant partners. You will carry out a housing needs assessment and a personalised housing plan (PHP) with the customer to ensure successful outcomes.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Community Warden Team for a highly motivated individual who can make a significant contribution to making Rugby a safer and cleaner community to live in, by being a recognisable presence throughout the Borough of Rugby, dealing with anti-social behaviour, environmental crimes and carrying out enforcement.

The successful candidate will possess the skills and ability to interact with a diverse range of people responding to complaints from members of the public on a reactive and proactive basis.  They will also have excellent communication, observational and problem solving skills enabling them to be able to work as part of team as well as independently in what can be a physically and mentally demanding role.
