‘I urge businesses to get involved and demonstrate the positive difference they are making to communities in the city.’
West Lindsey District Council has two very clear priorities, to enable and facilitate the growth of a strong local economy and to build stronger, more resilient communities. We have established a clear strategic framework to assist with the achievement of our priorities, including an outcomes framework that seeks to galvanise a whole organisation and whole system approach to the growth and sustainability of our place. We are seeking an Assistant Director Planning and Regeneration to join our senior leadership team and to support us to deliver these priorities.
Middlesbrough is a fantastic place, proud of its heritage and ambitious enough to forge a new future that delivers significant physical and social regeneration improvements.
We have a strong values-based culture which empowers senior leaders to deliver change, create and deliver meaningful plans, and make a real difference to the lives of residents.
At a time where Local Government continues to face huge efficiency challenges in light of continuing austerity, never has there been a greater opportunity for ICT, technology and digital to come to the forefront and play a leading role in enabling improved services, increased customer experience and most effective use of resources.
Douglas Borough Council is looking for a Director of Housing & Property to lead and build on the already excellent reputation of the Housing & Property Service. In addition this Director will be a member of the Chief Officers’ Management Team and will assist in providing leadership, vision and strategic direction across all Council and Corporate initiatives, projects and services. This is an excellent opportunity to be at the forefront of leading and shaping the Service.
A Chief Executive is required for an exceptional borough.
The successful candidate will be a hands on leader with a proven track record.
You will work with Elected Members, partners, key stakeholders and the senior management team to ensure that the strategic aims of the Council are clear and reflect our vision, values and priorities, the needs of the people of Rossendale and these are balanced against available resources.
Hounslow is an outstanding borough that deserves an outstanding council. Following the appointment of our Chief Executive earlier this year, we wish to build on our leadership team with this exciting role:
Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will lead our public service reform programme and have responsibility for key services that support our ambition. Your ability to translate national agendas and our political priorities into pioneering strategies will be matched by your desire to transform the council through services you lead including HR, Communications, Transformation, Policy and Strategy. Your energy and drive to improve performance and deliver outstanding services will give you a remit across the whole council and, as an ambassador, you will develop our reputation and champion the interests of Hounslow’s communities.
PUTTING PEOPLE AT THE CENTRE OF CHANGE
We are about to embark on a significant restructure of our HR service, centralising provision to create a more strategic and resilient team. Our new Director of HR & OD will play a key leadership role in embedding this new way of working, harnessing the potential of a more focused HR function, and ensuring that it translates into better outcomes for our staff and customers.
The scheme will provide specialist clearance and cleaning of any empty properties, externally and internally.
