Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Local Development Manager professional to join their team. Southend-on-Sea Borough Council employs around 1,700 staff, who work together to deliver a wide range of services that meet the needs of those who live, work and visit the area. We are looking for an experienced and innovative Waste Professional to take up the role of Waste Disposal & Contracts Manager working within the Waste Care Section of Environmental Services.
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: Grade 11
You must have significant senior management experience in a Waste Management discipline. You must also have high level experience of preparing tender and contract specifications, working with contractors and delivering comprehensive monitoring programmes.
