Supporting the delivery of the Corporate Programme, Herefordshire Council’s corporate team of project managers are involved in capital build and transformation projects across the Directorates.

We are looking for someone to work alongside our Children and Families and Adults and Communities directorates with a special focus on their community development projects. The appropriate candidates should have experience working with communities and/or community groups to develop opportunities for engagement as well as good project management skills. They should be well organised, highly motivated and thrive on working in a fast paced environment.

Area Supervisor

We are looking to recruit an Area Supervisor to work within the Council’s Green Care section.

The successful candidate will have a relevant Horticultural qualification and experience in this work area and will be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Grounds Maintenance issues along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Most of the working week will be outside of the office environment dealing with public and staff enquiries and issues.

Exchequer Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to lead the Council’s Exchequer service.

The service is responsible for the administration and collection of Council Tax and Business Rates, and all supporting functions. In addition, the service administers the recovery of benefit over payments, and sundry debts, along with the payment of the Council’s creditors. Administration of selected grants falls within the remit of the team.

Housing Coordinator

Rugby Borough Council is looking to recruit a fixed term, part-time, enthusiastic and customer focused Housing Coordinator in their Housing Services Team.

The successful candidate will support and enhance the housing service that meets our purpose; to enable our tenants to succeed and sustain their tenancy.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with three other Housing Coordinators around Allocations, Nominations, Right to Buy applications and all other Housing Services administrative tasks.
