An opportunity has arisen for an ERDF Monitoring & Compliance Officer to carry out the monitoring of the ERDF Small Habitats Grants Project which forms a part of the Greening the Grey programme.
The ERDF Small Habitats Grants project will deliver a greener GBSLEP through a £2.2m grants programme and eligible organisations from across the GBSLEP area are able to apply and then deliver green and blue infrastructure improvements at a smaller scale. The overall aim of the programme is to improve 20 hectares of land and habitat improvement.
Kirklees Council is a key partner of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and is tasked, together with its other West Yorkshire neighbours and City of York Council to deliver economic growth throughout the City Region. Highways Service is charged with delivering a range of Capital and Revenue funded works to support this. It is our role to ensure our Statutory duties are achieved, and our legislative / regulatory obligations met, within a politically high profile area.
