We are looking for an experienced officer to work within our Quality and Improvement Team. The successful candidate will help support the Senior Qualify and Improvement Officer with the benefits subsidy audit, and work to improve the quality of assessing and decision making within the Housing Benefit and Revenues teams.

Planner

Housing Options Officer

Development Officer/Senior Development Officer – Public Protection

Solihull Council has an excellent opportunity for an environmental specialist within our Development Management Group.

Working in our Enforcement, Monitoring and Compliance team, you will:

  • Deal with noise, dust and other pollution issues arising from development sites
  • Manage applications under Section 61 of the Control of Pollution Act,
  • Advise on the Public Protection aspects of selected planning applications, plus submissions relating to HS2
  • Assist Planning colleagues and customers on related environmental matters.

Parks Development Officer

Dudley Parks Development Service require a Parks Development Officer to assist the section in achieving greater public satisfaction and attainment of the Green Flag accreditation.

Hours: 37 per week

Salary: Grade 7

You will be assisting the team in the day to day management and development of the Council’s parks, open spaces, allotments and recreation areas.

Building on the successful administration of over £150 million of funding allocated to the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) during the past 4 years. Walsall Council has been appointed as its single Accountable Body, taking responsibility for all future funding allocated to the LEP from the 1st April 2019.

We are looking for the following officers to join a dynamic team responsible for a range of tasks including; negotiating and agreeing contracts and grant agreements with the public and private sectors, associated claim and payment processes, compiling programme cash-flow forecasts together with on-going monitoring and compliance.
