The Role

We are looking for an energetic and diligent Community Presence Officer to be a part of Camden Councils community safety and emergency division. The role will involve delivering uniformed, visible community based patrol interventions that reduce risk and reassure communities. You will be creative as you will design and deliver integrated responses to problems in high risk areas. As well as this, you will be responsible for sharing information and promoting principles with all stakeholders, especially elected members.

Energy and Contracts Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to assist Chelmsford City Council’s Building Services in the day to day management of the building maintenance help desk.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to become a vital link between the Premises Managers and the Council’s Contractors to make sure our buildings meet the needs of the organisation. These include, amongst others: Hylands House, the Civic Centre, Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre, High Chelmer Multi Story Car Park and Chancellor Park Pavilion. You will coordinate reactive jobs, ensure they are accurately invoiced and paid and be responsible for maintaining energy billing data. To do this you as must have excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Assessment Officer

The role:

We are currently seeking a Prevention/Assessment Officer to provide a comprehensive range of advice and prevention measures to applicants approaching the Housing Options Service (HOS) for assistance with a housing problem.  Where a solution cannot be found the officers will assess the eligibility of homeless applicants for housing assistance under Part VII Housing Act 1996.
