Housing Income Management Advisor

You will work as part of the Housing Income Team, delivering effective income management services to our tenants and supporting the Housing Income Management Officers.

You should have approximately 2 years’ experience of working in a housing environment relating to rent collection and recovery of former and current arrears.

Highly effective communication skills are essential in this role, together with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet performance targets. Experience of working in sometimes difficult environmental situations with clients who have challenging behaviour is also essential.

Housing Income Management Officer

You will work as part of the Housing Income Team delivering effective income management services to our tenants. You will be required to represent Housing Services at court hearings and evictions.

You should have approximately 2 years’ experience of working in a housing environment relating to rent collection and recovery.

Streetpride Operative

To support the maintenance, upkeep and improvement throughout the city centre by undertaking a range of street cleansing tasks.

Following a maintenance map and schedule, you will be responsible for ensuring the city centre paths and walkways are kept clean by undertaking sweeping duties using our pavement sweeper along with manual sweeping where required.

We require additional part time permanent staff to cover parks and to help us provide a high quality service to the Public users of all our facilities.

We now need additional staff to work in our parks to help us provide a high quality service to the Public users of all our facilities.

Housing Strategy and Development Officer

Fixed-Term Contract until 31st December 2019

In the southern part of the West Midlands, Warwick district is an attractive, historic location and, as a consequence, local housing costs are extremely high, so the provision of more affordable housing is a key corporate priority for Warwick District Council.

In this important role you will provide the enabling service, working with planners, developers and housing associations to ensure that an appropriate mix of affordable housing is included in all larger private housing schemes. You will also pursue development opportunities for affordable housing provision directly by the council and support and advise housing associations on schemes that they bring forward. You will be responsible for producing housing and related strategies, policies and procedures that contribute to achieving this aim.
