The post is located within the recently established Economy and Regeneration Service, whose core purpose is to deliver the Council’s priority of Economic Growth. This includes the influencing of national and regional policy and co-ordinating and driving forward of the delivery and management of regeneration and economic growth projects including those funded with European Structural funds.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new member of the Corporate Property Team to provide support for a number of housing development/improvement schemes and commercial projects.
We are looking for an excellent team player with good administrative and communication skills to help us plan these projects and see them through to delivery and completion. The successful applicant will have the ability to prioritise tasks, meet strict deadlines but most importantly work with a range of stakeholders including senior officers of the council, Elected Members and contractors.

Having now reached an advanced stage of the Local Plan Examination we are keen to move to adoption. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to play an integral role in our growth agenda and deliver on our emerging Local Plan in the coming months as maternity cover for the senior planner role in our team.
You will have an essential role in the production of policy documents, focusing on our SPDs, including strategic allocation masterplans, and supporting communities producing Neighbourhood Plans as well as providing advice on planning applications.
