The successful candidate will provide effective front line housing advice, guidance and support to help prevent homelessness and to assist applicants to explore the full range of housing options available to them. The successful candidate must demonstrate a proactive approach to preventing homelessness, will be required to negotiate on behalf of households with family, landlords, letting agents, mortgage providers and others where this would help to prevent homelessness, and will need to have a good understanding of the range of prevention options available.
