Senior Valuation Surveyor

Your Role

Located in the Commercial Property Team, you will independently evaluate, select and apply complex surveying and valuation practices in accordance with professional standards, quality assurance procedures and the Council’s standing orders, policies and procedures.
Crucially, you will advise and guide other staff within the team, as appropriate and act as a mentor.
As part of your role, you will investigate queries or complaints from tenants, the general public or elected members and resolve issues in accordance with high standards of customer care.

Contracts Manager

We are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to lead a small team responsible for managing the contractors delivering our Waste and Recycling Collection, Street Cleaning, Ground Management and Leisure Centre provision across the district.
You must have relevant qualification at degree level or equivalent and a wide experience of successfully managing service contracts.  The successful candidate will be proactive and innovative in identifying opportunities to challenge the status quo to improve and develop services to ensure they are fit for purpose, future proof and provide excellent value for money.

Environmental Health Team Leader

We are in the process of restructuring our Environmental Health Service and we are looking for a dynamic, motivated Team Leader to lead our Environmental Protection Team.  Working alongside the Food and Safety Team Leader you will report directly to the Head of Technical and Community Services and you will be the professional lead on all Environmental Protection matters including Pest Control and the Dog Warden Service.
