This will include working alongside other officers and Members to develop and implement a Climate Change Action Plan to cover economic development, planning policy, biodiversity, energy use, climate change, flooding, waste and transport.
Due to retirement, an exciting senior management opportunity has arisen to lead the Major Transport Projects service within the Transport and Connectivity division of the Inclusive Growth directorate.
You will lead projects and programmes of both a strategic and local significance to the Council, undertaking capital programme development, delivery, management, co-ordination and control. The role has a specific focus on key projects relating to the Commonwealth Games, HS2, major developments such as Peddimore and Smithfield, and DfT major schemes.
